You Can Help

Our purpose is to raise money to support research in the area of childhood eye diseases and visual defects, and travel grants to practicing doctors and researchers primarily from under-developed countries. The Bernadotte Foundation for Children’s Eyecare, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) Charitable Foundation incorporated in New York dedicated to the prevention of childhood blindness and visual impairment.

Our investment committee works diligently to maintain our portfolio safely through these tough economic times and can report that we are able to distribute grants in the aggregate amount of $25,000 annually up to a maximum of $50,000 each year, but we depend on donations to maintain our endowment.
